July's Birchbox comes in an absolutely stunning white, pink and lilac paint-stroke effect box. As usual, Birchbox is £12.95 per month and this month box is to encourage you to be bold and try something new whether that be going for a bright eyeliner or eyeshadow look or finally booking those festival tickets! This month's box contains some amazing Summer essentials that are perfect for this hot, humid weather.

Manna Kadar Long-Wear Blush ~ This blush from Manna Kadar was this month's full-size product that you could choose the shade of and retails for £15. I decided to go for the shade Paradise as it was a gorgeous coral pink which I don't have many blushers in that shade in my makeup collection. Manna Kadar is a brand that I've never heard of or used before, this powder is supposed to be one of their long-wearing multi-use powders, although I'd probably just stick to using it as a blush or maybe even an eyeshadow.

Eyeko Fat Eye Stick ~ Eyeko is a brand that I've known about since I was in high school and at one point I thought they were no more, thankfully that is not the case! Since being introduced to the Armani liquid eye tints, I've been all about liquid and cream eyeshadows. This eyeshadow stick from Eyeko worth £12 is supposed to give you intense colour that stays put, I love the shimmering taupe shade, it's the perfect everyday colour for me!

What's In It For Me Scrub ~ I am awful for using scrubs whilst in the shower and it's a beauty habit that I really need to get into doing. This handy 50ml sample gives you just enough to give it a good test run or to take it away with you on holiday. The scrub is infused with orange and jasmine flower as well as sweet almond so it has a gorgeous sweet, creamy scent. I think it's fab that this scrub is microbead free, however people with nut allergies be warned that this scrub has got both almond and walnuts in it.

Balance Me Serum ~ I have tried the odd couple of bits from Balance Me before in either beauty subscription boxes or samples in goody bags. I am pretty in love with my Clarins serum and my advanced night repair serum from Estee Lauder but this serum is great for oily or acne prone skin as it's a soothing and balancing serum that works to fight spots, balance your skin and refine pores. They also suggest that you can also use this serum as a spot treatment on blemishes.

BeautyPro Under Eye Mask ~ I am really intrigued by these undereye masks although I must admit that I already have a couple hidden in my makeup drawers that I was nervous to use at first as I got worried about putting something that close to my eye and now I just keep forgetting to put them on! These eye masks from BeautyPro are supposed to help fight fine lines as well as helping to cool and depuff your under eyes (I wonder if you could put these in the fridge before you applied them?!). They are also packed full of green tea, aloe vera, vitamin A and vitamin E.

Roccabox has a special place in my heart as it was the first beauty subscription box that I subscribed to, I guess you could say that they were the ones that started it off! The July box has been curated by the lovely Carly Musleh from Beauty Sauce. This box is chock full of amazing beauty products that are tried and loved by Carly, it's also full of some utter hidden gem skincare as well as multi-tasking products. I also love that with each July box that is sold, Carly is personally making a donation to a charity that supports mental health which amazingly generous!

PCA Skin Revitalize Mask ~ PCA Skin is a new brand for me, but if you've seen my face mask draw you will know that I am all for trying out face masks and figuring out my favourite brands! This enzyme mask is supposed to give you deep exfoliation, hydration and bright glowy skin as it's packed full of papaya, honey, green tea and vitamin E. I love the papaya in this face mask as it just gives it such an amazing scent and yes I am one of those people that will 100% use something more if it smells amazing!

Dr Paw Paw Original Balm ~ I have been eyeing up these Dr Paw Paw multi-purpose balms for as long as I can remember but I've never seen them in store to be able to have a look at them and see the scents and colours. I would have loved to have a tinted version of their balm but these are the perfect thing to carry around in your handbag every day as it's perfect for dry skin, chapped lips, nappy cream, bug bites, irritated skin and even as a hair moisturising treatment. It really is the wonder balm!

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Lipstick ~ I got one of these Gen Nude lipsticks in a beauty box a couple of months ago and I love it. I think the sample I got is the shade Dahling and these liquid lipsticks give you that glossy lip look that doesn't budge or stick to anything. I also find it so hydrating which is a big feat for someone with chronically dry lips.

Pureology Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner ~ Pureology is a brand that I've never tried before but I've heard a lot about. The Hydrate range is perfect for me, with bleach highlighted hair, I really put the extra effort in to keep my hair as healthy and hydrated as possible. The smell of these are amazing and they're packed full of hydrating and nourishing ingredients but it's super gentle on your hair. I love that even though it's a deeply hydrating shampoo and conditioner, they're colour preserving as well so I don't have to worry about it stripping the colour out of my hair.

Pixi Lash Line Ink ~ I was introduced to Pixi Beauty at the British Style Collective last year and have tried bits and pieces from their skincare and makeup lines. I don't often wean liquid eyeliner as I have hooded eyelids so I tend to opt for cream eyeliner and I also tend to opt for brown eyeliner over black as I feel like brown suits me better and there's no waiting for it to dry but this eyeliner from Pixi has a super thin tip so I can get a really thin line for a more natural look.

My Winner.......?

This month I'm really torn on who my winner is! I love the Eyeko eye stick, the shower scrub and under eye masks in my Birchbox. But I think Roccabox edged ahead as I will actually use 90% of this months box, I especially love the Dr Paw Paw balm and Pureology shampoo and conditioner. I also love that Roccabox regularly collaborates with bloggers and vloggers, it's a goal of mine to one day to get to a point with my blog where I could collaborate with a beauty subscription box.

What box is your winner?

Speak to you next time!
