Top Picks: Clarin's

It's time to start featuring more beauty on my blog and I thought I would try a new beauty series talking about my top picks from some of my favourite brands. After hosting a blogger event with Clarin's and being transformed into a Clarin's girl, I thought it was only right to start this series talking about some of my top picks from them.

How Badoo Has Changed The Dating Game

Sometimes life as a critical care nurse and blogger is insanely busy so imagine trying to fit in seeing my family and friends, let alone a social life and finding a boyfriend. Trying to find a boyfriend with such a hectic life that understands blogging (not necessarily does it, but understands it!) and maybe will even offer to help me with pictures has lead me to Badoo.

25 Things I Learnt By 25

I can't believe that I'm actually 25! I feel like I'm still stuck at 22 mentally, I may or may not have forgotten my age at times over the past year and told some of my patients that I'm 22/23. To celebrate hitting 25 (or as I said to Samm the other week I'm hitting my mid-mid-life crisis), I thought I would talk about 25 of things I have learnt in the past 25 years.

My December Highlights

This year I wanted to spend more time reflecting on some of the amazing things that have happened to me, in life and my blog. Whilst some great things happened in 2017, there were also some major points of sadness that happened in my personal life so this year for my own mental health I want to start looking for the positivity in every day. I know technically December was 2017 and not 2018, but so many amazing things happened in December and I couldn't think of a better way to start a year of highlights!

My 2017 Beauty Favourites

There has been so much that has happened in 2017 and this year has just flew by so fast, there has been so many amazing products that I've found all thanks to other bloggers and brand events. I think I said the exact same thing this time last year but I am really striving this year to balance out my content and make it more interesting, so I really want to start featuring more posts about beauty. So let's start it off right with a post all about my beauty favourites from the past year.

The Life Of A Night Shift Nurse

life of a night shift nurse, danielle levy, nurse uk

As many of you all know for the past year I have been a cardiac critical care nurse and have spent the best part of that year on nights. Whilst working in an ITU/critical care environment is pretty much the same whether it's day or night, the night routine on our unit is a little bit different. This new year I am working 10 straight night shifts so I thought I would bring you all along and show you what the average night shift for an ITU nurse looks like.

My Sassoon Experience

Sassoon Liverpool, My sassoon experience, danielle levy

I'm a bit of a creature of habit when it comes to getting my hair done, I've been at the same hairdressers for 6 years since I was 16! After attending the Sassoon Men's launch in the Met Quarter and talking to some of the stylists there and just knew I had to go and get my hair done there. I also spent at least 40% of my week with my hair up in a bun at work so I didn't realise how desperately I needed to get my hair done.

Getting Ready For 2018

2018 goals, dear diary, get your shit together, danielle levy,

I cannot believe that it's 2018 already, whilst I have spent 80% of the festive season in work I've had such a fun time with my work family and my actual family. Now that all the Christmas shopping is complete, the Christmas dinner has been eaten and we've all had our fair share of Christmas TV and chocolates, it's time to start thinking about 2018 and my goals for it.
