Fine Dining With Cote Brasserie Chester

Cote Brasserie

There's nothing like a mid-week restaurant launch to perk up your hump day!! Last week I got an email off the lovely Victoria inviting me down to the VIP launch of the new Cote Brasserie in Chester.

Cote Brasserie Table Setting

I've been getting more and more invites from brands in Chester/on the Wirral which I'm so happy about, it's been really lovely to get away from the city centre (as much as I love Liverpool) and try out some new brands in new areas! So my mother and I decided to take the drive down to Chester for champagne (or orange for me) and canapes versions of their delicious dishes. It was really nice to have the chance to take my mother along to a blogger event, normally she's working most evenings/weekends or it's something she isn't interested in so it isn't something she can get involved in even though she loves coming to events.

Cote Brasserie

In typical me fashion, we were literally the first people to arrive at the launch. It was actually quite nice to be the first people there as it wasn't a blogger-specific event (it was mroe of a press and business launch), I was able to get a bunch of pictures without having to do the weird skirt around people (and I didn't have to try and avoid catching a million and one people in my pictures) and I was able to have a discussion with Victoria about the launch and the recent extension they had completed.

Cote Brasserie canapes

If you didn't know Cote Brasserie has been around since 2007. Starting off in London, from the beginning it's gained in popularity with glowing reviews from the beginning. The restaurant is their take on a modern French brasserie and the interior is gorgeous with marble countertops, beautiful wooden tables hidden away under original brick arches. During the evening, the entire restaurant has amazing mood lighting with candle lit tables and small downward scones. Offering everything from french toast and Croque monsieur to sirloin steak and chocolate fondant, there's something for any time of the day that you pop in!

Cote Brasserie Mushroom Rissotto

After talking to Victoria and having a mooch/taking a ton of pictures, everyone started to arrive and mingle. Now as my mum put it I'm "normally really confident", however I was the only blogger in a room full of press and businesses.....it was slightly overwhelming. Once the food started coming round, all was forgotten as me and my mum got to try out several canapes versions of their meals which looked incredible in miniature form whilst having a good gab. I loved the mini calamari and the desserts (I have a massive sweet tooth!).

Cote Brasserie Creme Caramel

With continuous top ups of champagne throughout the night, I was able to get my mum to try out some new things that she wouldn't normally try without a bit of alcoholic support (we're not the most adventurous eaters!). I must say the chocolate mousse and creme caramel were definitely my winners of the evening.

I had such a fun night, the restaurant looks amazing and the food is to die for! I can't wait to head back for a bloggers breakfast brunch very soon.

Have you ever tried Cote Brasserie?

Speak to you next time!
