Trying Out Charlotte Tilbury For The First Time

I feel like I've committed the cardinal sin of blogging........It's nearly 3 years without a Charlotte Tilbury product. How have I managed to get to 3 years of blogging without these truly instagrammable products?!

After I got to try out the infamous GHD products last week as you saw in my latest blog post, Sam and I decided to take a trip around John Lewis. I may have happened to stumble into Charlotte Tilbury and met the fabulous girls that work on the counter. I originally went with the intention of buying one of their famous lipsticks and got invited to their makeup masterclass. About 4 days before the masterclass, I unfortunately got booked onto mandatory training at work and was unable to go, but they came to the rescue and kindly offered to swap it for a facial the Sunday after.

It has been such a long time since I've been for a facial (it's really bad and awful to admit, I know!) so I was really excited to get the chance to have a Charlotte Tilbury facial. Being a complete newbie to Charlotte Tilbury, I was really excited to try out their skincare. After arriving super early, parking in the most expensive car park in Liverpool One and getting stuck waiting for my morning coffee in Starbucks, I finally made it to the counter and was greeted by the lovely girls.

For my facial, I had the lovely Natalie who introduced me to the brand and told me all about their most recent launch, the Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask. This is the first DRY face mask that can be reused up to 3 times and helps to reduce wrinkles, smooths, brightens, lifts and hydrates your skin. I was amazed when Natalie told me it actually has special technology that reads your skin and administers what your skin needs particularly to those areas rather that all over your face like most face masks which sounds amazing! After she raved about the dry face mask, she got to work making the room lovely and relaxing by dimming the lights and playing some relaxing music.

I was in the facial room for roughly an hour and Natalie went through every product she was applying. After she had cleansed my skin using Multi-miracle Glow balm (with an amazing facial massage), I was very surprised that a face mask was included in the facial (I know it sounds dumb but I thought it would just be facial cleansing, a small facial massage and then daytime skincare), the Goddess Skin Clay mask was popped on whilst Natalie gave me an AMAZING hand, arm and shoulder massage with the Magic cream. Let me tell you it was heaven! I was actually amazed by the clay mask as it wasn't like typical clay masks, it didn't dry down hard and I could actually move my face even after having it on for 10-15 minutes!

After I was left with heavenly skin, Natalie popped a little bit of the Wonderglow on which can be used under makeup as a primer or on its own to give your skin that luminous glow on your no makeup days. Before I was left to mooch around the counter, the girls kindly popped a little bit of makeup on for me using their Quick N Easy Makeup bags (which was perfect as I hate coming out of the house without any makeup on, unless I am going straight to the gym and back!).

I loved my facial, so much so that I can't wait to go back for another one! I even ended up coming away with the Magic cream, a Matte Revolution lipstick in Bond Girl and an addiction for Charlotte Tilbury. Natalie also kindly gave me some samples of Wonderglow, Magic eye rescue and Magic night cream. I even got the price of my facial off the products I picked up on the day!

I would highly recommend you pop in the Charlotte Tilbury counter in John Lewis Liverpool and say hi to the lovelies at the counter. They have also got some amazing masterclasses coming up with some fabulous makeup artists which sound like the perfect treat for the makeup addicts out there! Thank you so much to Natalie for my facial and I will be going back very soon to feed the Charlotte Tilbury addiction.

Speak to you next time!
