Checking Off My Christmas Lists With The Body Shop

It's come to that time of year again.......Christmas and with Christmas comes present shopping for all your loved ones! This year The Body Shop have got you covered with everything from advent calendars and stocking fillers to big gifts and Christmasy scents for your home.

Last week the lovely Sarah invited me down to check out their amazing Christmas releases and the three new Christmas scents. The event was a closed door event which meant we got to roam around the entire store and taking as many photos until our heart's content. Let me tell you this year The Body Shop are killing it with their Christmas scents!

This year when you buy a Christmas present from The Body Shop they are giving back, each Christmas present you buy will help to restore 1 square metre of rainforest to help protect some of the world's most endangered rainforest animals in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Not too long ago, they launched a campaign to help Reggie, the monkey find love and for Christmas they've brought back Reggie with his love Rosie and their little baby Reggie Jnr.

For Christmas 2016, they have released 3 scents with Christmasy colours to match. With red, green and cream packaging, nothing screams Christmas more than the Spiced Apple, Frosted Berries and Vanilla Chai products. Each range has everything from bubble bath, to lip balms and my favourite item......the shimmer mists! Spiced Apple has the delicious scent of apple with cinnamon mixed making it absolutely beautiful for winter and Christmas! Each product also contains cold-pressed apple seed oil from the Alps. This one by far is my favourite, it smells so delicious and you smell incredible after you've used it!! Frosted berries smells of yummy berries with notes of vanilla and praline which makes it a great alternative to traditional Christmas scents. This one is actually made with cranberries from North America. Vanilla Chai is my next favourite out of the entire range with a creamy vanilla scent with a hint of spice which makes it delicious for all year round. This one has hand picked vanilla Madagascar!

On the day Sarah kindly gave us all 40% off nearly everything in store which meant a lot of the bloggers attending shopped till they dropped and stocked up on Christmas presents for everyone! Before we left into the cold November night Sarah had arranged for us to have a special no-loser raffle which was a really nice touch to the evening. For every ticket bought there was a prize and for each ticket pulled out, you then pulled out a day from the Christmas advent calendar and there was either a prize inside or a note to let you know what prize you had won. Everyone was super happy to all be going home with prizes! I managed to win a full size body butter, a shower gel and body lotion set, and a chamomile makeup remover set.

I had such an amazing time again at The Body Shop Birkenhead and thank you to everyone there for inviting me along for the second time, all of the staff there are just amazing, so incredibly friendly and so helpful. I will be back again very soon for an advent calendar.....keep your eyes peeled for that in Vlogmas!

Speak to you next time!
*I was invited along to The Body Shop Birkenhead to attend their Christmas blogger event and see their new releases. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
