I can't think of a better way to spend last weekend than with an amazing group of women that celebrate body positivity at any size or shape! I was kindly sponsored by Simply Be to attend The Curve Fashion Festival with them alongside some bloggers from around the UK to check out the festival and spread the #morethanourbodies word!

Simply Be have launched an amazing and inspirational More Than Our Bodies campaign. This year they are celebrating women and encouraging them to be whoever they want to be, they believe that fashion shouldn't discriminate and we should be empowered to embrace our individuality with no compromises on our clothing.

The Curve Fashion Festival has been around since 2015 and hosts a full day of fashion shows, shopping, talks and celebrity guests. They host a combination of high street and online retailers to bring you some of your favourites and some new amazing brands to try out. Not only have they got fashion brands for you to meet, but they also have a host of beauty, food and unique, independent sellers. Unfortunately, as you may have seen some bloggers/influencers mention that due to TCFF being hosted in St George's Hall it was fairly inaccessible to people and had issues like limited seating, difficulties mobilising and overcrowding.

For the festival, Simply Be kindly put me up in the Hotel Indigo with the lovely Lucie and Sarah, of course our day at TCFF had to start with an AMAZING hotel breakfast (Hotel Indigo you have the best breakfasts and your wait staff are so friendly and helpful!) and a catch-up, we also kind of went into a little bit of food coma from the fab breakfast but it was time to head up to the festival!

The day was split into different talks and fashion shows with the shopping hall open all day. The main stage had everything from talks from Boobydoo about finding your perfect fitting sports bra and why you need it to talks from Matalan about all things social media related. The fashion shows of the day were also split into separate online and high street retailer shows, as well as Debenhams and Boohoo who had individual catwalks to showcase their latest collection launches. I was gutted to have missed the talk from Matalan about all things social media due to the previous fashion running over and myself and my friend not being able to find a seat and being told not to wait where we were even though we were out of the way for people leaving after the fashion show. Although the layout of the shopping hall was cramped and a bit ill organised, I loved being able to find a ton of brand new brands that I wouldn't have found otherwise.

Whilst I was there I did pick up a couple of things from the shopping hall because well I couldn't have not purchased anything and I have a slight shopping addiction! The first thing that caught my eye and arguably started the whole thing was the glitter and shimmer pigments from Sample Beauty because well you can't argue that they don't pull you in, I picked up a couple whilst I was there and I already want to go back and get the maroon one you see in the picture above. I also got my hands on a new sports bra from Boodydoo (ready for me to get back to the gym now that my physio is working magic with my back!).

I had a fabulous weekend with Simply Be at The Curve Fashion Festival, I will be featuring my outfit with links to all the pieces in a blog post this week (keep your eyes peeled for it as I've found my perfect high waisted jeans!). Thank you so much Simply Be for inviting me and being so generous over the weekend, I also want to thank them for introducing me to Sarah and Lucie, two amazing bloggers that I wouldn't have met without them.
