Getting Spooky With Lush Liverpool

The changing of the seasons always brings one exciting thing.....the festive collections from Lush! My favourite time of year! Last year Lush Liverpool invited me to their amazing Halloween and Christmas blogger event, however this year only the Halloween products were out (NGL my bank balance was very happy with this, me not so much!) but I was still very excited when I got my Halloween blogger event invite.

Of course, all my favourite bloggers (and friends) were invited this year which made me very excited as I worry so much about attending events and not knowing anyone there. There was a bit of confusion on the night as 90% of the people there were bloggers that were invited by the PR, however a couple of hours before the 'blogger event', it came out on Instagram that it was actually an open preview and shopping event open to anyone which confused a lot of the bloggers that attended as normally Lush Liverpool are known for hosting amazing blogger events with fun activities and incredible goody bags.

My pre-event ritual of meeting Sam for dinner of course happened but I also got the chance to catch up with Leah and have a bit of a mooch in Primark (including maybe picking up a couple of bits for Vlogtober sit down makeup-related videos). The one downside and something I'm most looking forward to in the new store is the size and space available, last year at the blogger event it was a little bit busy but you could get around a shop and take pictures but at this preview/shopping event with the general public it was difficult to get around, take pictures and pick up what you fancied.

On the night, they had opened up the spa upstairs for us to have a look round and see what's included in the treatments and boy is the spa pretty! It's got that English country cottage feel to it, they have 11 different spa treatments that you can treat yourself or someone you love to. Me and a couple of the girls decided to head up to the spa first as it seemed quieter than the shop floor, the girls upstairs gave us a cup of tea and snacks whilst they talked us through the different spa treatments and helped us decide what would be our perfect treatment to try.

We headed down at the perfect time to check out, take photos of the Halloween collection and pick up my favourites. I thought to round up this blog post from the event would be to share with your my favourite pieces from the Halloween collection. I couldn't see the Bewitched bubble bar and not pick it up! If you've not seen it this bubble bar is a black cat shaped bar with spicy olibanum and blackberry and if you want a spooky bath, it turns your bath water black! I love the Monster's Ball bath bomb because it's a bath bomb and bath melt in one, is there any more of an excuse not to get it?! It wouldn't be Halloween without some pumpkins and Lush haven't done things by half, meet the Sparkly Pumpkin! This bubble bar is filled with lime, juniper and grapefruit as well as being a literal sparkly pumpkin so it's guaranteed to make an amazing bath. Lastly is Lord of Misrule bath bomb with is a stunning green bath bomb with a deep wine colour inside, it is also filled with vanilla, patchouli, black pepper and even popping candy!

What's your favourite product from Lush?

Speak to you next time!
*I was invited to the 'bloggers event'. All thoughts are honest and my own.
