Bloggers Night Out | Coliseum Shopping Park

Danielle Levy, Coliseum Shopping Park, Carousel PR, food blogger, lifestyle blogger, liverpool blogger, wirral blogger,

For me, one of the best parts of blogging is the people that I've met and the friends that I've made. I can honestly say I'm made some of my best friends through blogging and we are all for spending the evening with some yummy food and almost crying laughing! Last week I got the chance to head to the Coliseum Shopping Park in Ellesmere Port with Sam and Codie for a bloggers night out and I had such a fun night out!

The Coliseum Shopping Park in Ellesmere Port is right next to Cheshire Oaks, I feel like if you didn't know that it was there you could easily pass it but I highly recommend you check it out because not only have you got some amazing places to shop, you can also head to one of the many restaurants for dinner before heading to the cinema for a movie or the mini golf for a hilarious way to finish off the evening.

I managed to get there just on time (thanks to someone going 40 mph on the motorway and I couldn't get round them!), luckily Sam and Codie were waiting right out the Paradise Island mini golf for me. I've played golf before but I've never played mini golf before and I have bad aim so I thought I was going to epically fail and come dead last, I think I might be a bit of an idiot savant at it because I either got a hole in 1 or a hole in 5-8. Luckily when we arrived no-one turned up at the exact same time which gave us plenty of time to chat, laugh and be sassy whilst playing with no pressure of other people standing there watching you fail at getting the ball in the hole!

I ended up coming second to Codie with about 5 hole in ones on the course which I'm quite proud of considering I've never played it before and I've got awful aim! It's also only £8.50 for a game or under £13 for 2 games which I think is very reasonably priced for the amount of fun and laughs we had.

Of course, no bloggers night out is complete without dinner! There are too many amazing places to pick from for food in the Coliseum, we decided to try out Frankie & Benny's as it had the perfect combination of veggie options and fussy eater options. It may have been a slightly off plan meal (sorry Slimming World) but I decided to go for the Margherita pizza with a little bowl of chips on the side which was really good, the base was perfect for me as I don't like super thick pizza bases so Frankie & Benny's is definitely going to be my go-to place for eating out. I even really liked the look of the Vegan Beet burger that Codie got! We decided to go all out for the drinks and while Sam got one of the alcoholic milkshakes which looked amazing, the designated driver over here went for the Cookie Crumble milkshake, I think I'm actually becoming a milkshake person (ngl it's ALL down to Sam!).

I had such a fun evening, from almost crying laughing at mini golf and finding out that Sam is a sore loser to having such a great chat with some of my favourite people over food. Even though I say I'm a Liverpool blogger, I live on the Wirral and compared to Liverpool there are not as many places on the Wirral that you can go and spend the day shopping, having fun and getting some amazing food so I think the Coliseum Shopping Park is going to become my new all time favourite place to spend the day on this side of the water. I'd highly recommend you take a trip there next time you want a shopping/fun day instead of heading into Liverpool city centre!

Have you been to the Coliseum Shopping Park yet?

Speak to you next time!
