Autumn Fashion Blogger Event | John Lewis & Partners

Danielle Levy, John Lewis, John Lewis & Partners, fashion, fashion bloggers, Liverpool, Liverpool blogger,

John Lewis is a company that I think is pretty much a household name for about 90% of the UK. Growing up, John Lewis was somewhere we went at Christmas to get present ideas and pick up unique treats, now being an adult John Lewis is somewhere I come for high-quality products be it electronics, homeware or clothing that I know I can invest in and will stand the test of time. Thankfully I haven't made a start on my autumn wardrobe so an invite to the launch of the new John Lewis & Partners clothing line couldn't have come at a better time.

Whilst some of the reason behind the relaunch of John Lewis as John Lewis & Partners was the need for a new design that suited the use of their logo in digital and mobile channels, personally I love the new monochrome design. Another reason behind the relaunch was their increased emphasis on fashion particularly their own brand fashion. Over the course of the next 5 years, John Lewis & Partners are slowly transforming their brand to ensure they minimise their wastage.

I mean is it really an autumn blogger event without me getting a Pumpkin Spiced Latte beforehand?! Of course, me and Sam decided to grab one and have a quick catch up on the grass steps next to John Lewis & Partners. Luckily as we walked into the event, there was a bunch of bloggers I already knew (one of my top fears is attending events and not knowing anyone there!).

The event focused on their brand new own brand fashion line and their incredible autumn collections (that I am completely in love with!). The fashion range goes from size 6 all the way up to size 24 (however it's worth noting that most of their plus size clothing is online only, so be prepared if you go in store expecting to find it) and it all focuses on being ageless fashion that is ethically sourced. They even have jumpers that are made from plastic bottles! I love that their clothing range is designed to be ageless so you and your mum could choose the same items of clothing but it's all about how you style up those pieces of clothing!

I thought I would share some of my favourite clothing and accessories from the new autumn range. I am loving these cashmere roll neck jumpers, particularly in burgundy and grey as they are the perfect items for layering especially when we have those days when it's freezing, then warm then freezing again. If I'm not dressed up for autumn, I'm chilling at home in the comfiest loungewear (honestly I live in that or PJs at home!). John Lewis & Partners have got some of the comfiest and stylish loungewear! I am living for these navy blue cosmic traditional style PJs, I love wearing these traditional style PJs in autumn/winter because they leave me feeling so festive and cosy and the cosmic design is so on trend at the minute, I love the matching eye mask. Ngl having a matching eye mask to my PJ's definitely makes me feel like I've got my sh*t together as an adult.

Of course, I am all about the outerwear and accessories for autumn! I feel like every year the style of coat that I like changes and I'm loving this double-faced camel coat, it's so simple but a statement piece. With my ridiculously small head, one of the few hats that I can wear without it falling off all day is berets, these cashmere ones are so amazingly soft and comfy, no worries of awful hat hair here! After diving into the world of smaller bags my big purse is WAY too big for me to carry around so I've been keeping my eye out for a small card holder that allows me to carry around a couple of cards for when I'm out running errands, it also makes so much easier when I'm out running errands cause it can easily fit in a jeans or coat pocket.

I am loving the new autumn collection from John Lewis & Partners, I'm heading back soon to get an autumn style revamp with the amazing personal stylists. The personal stylists at John Lewis & Partners are amazing for helping you find some amazing old favourites that will stand the test of time whilst introducing you to some new pieces that push you out of your usual style arena.

What do you think of the John Lewis & Partners revamp?

Speak to you next time!
