Is It Worth The Hype?! | Dyson Liverpool

Well it's been out for about two years now, so it's about time I tried out right?! I can't believe that the Dyson hairdryer has been out for so long and I'm only just getting the chance to test it out. A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to an event with YSL in John Lewis and they kindly offered to blow my hair out for me (it decided to pour down after I'd freshly washed my hair, the worst moment ever!) with the amazing Ric at Dyson.

This incredible Dyson hairdryer has been around for a couple of years now and I still remember the big buzz with a load of YouTubers and bloggers being sent them, showing the once then never featuring them again (rude!). When they came out I remember being a poor student and legit being so jealous that I couldn't go and get one, as someone who showers/bathes late at night and first thing in the morning, a noisy hairdryer is the bain of my existence! Also not going to lie I am also that person that uses my hairdryer to warm myself/my feet when it's freezing cold and being able to use a hairdryer that isn't that noisy gives it major points in my book.

I don't know about you but before this hairdryer launched, I didn't really have any idea that hairdryers haven't really changed that much since they were created in the early 1900's! The Dyson hairdryer has a completely unique design with the amazing motor in the handle that helps to protect your hair by preventing temperatures from going above 150 degrees. I have a complete lack of upper body strength so having a really light hairdryer is a major plus.

Whilst we were at Dyson, Ric explained all about why their hairdryers are so good whilst giving us a gorgeous Liverpool blow-out from dry hair! As someone with fine, pain-in-the-arse hair that doesn't stay curled unless it's tightly curled and then left to relax for a couple of days, it was a wonder to me that I could actually have good looking hair being styled completely dry with no products! Ric explained how all the technology worked in the hairdryer and explained how it was able to give you just enough heat to style your hair but not too much that to damage it.

Each hairdryer comes with 3 different styling attachments that are all magnetically attached (I had great fun with like a child!), perfect for those with gorgeous curls, people who really want to style their hair with their hairdryer and those who just wanna get it dried and get on with their day! I know the £300 price tag seems so huge but I'm so impressed with how lifted it made my hair look without having to wash it and blow dry it upside down. Getting to try it out has definitely made me want to save up to treat myself, I think of my hair styling tools as investments so I don't mind spending a little bit more money on them, for example I've had my current hairdryer since I was a teenager, so it's got to be pushing 8-9 years old now and it's still going strong!

Have you tried out the Dyson hairdryers?

Speak to you next time!
