I can't believe that we're already at the end of July, this year is completely flying by and whilst I'm all up for autumn/winter, Halloween and Christmas, I'm not about getting another year older! For once I'm actually back with some monthly favourites because I've been using and loving a new set of products so I've finally got something a bit different to share with you all.

All this heat has played complete havoc with my skin, thankfully a couple of new additions to my skincare has saved my poor skin in this hot, humid weather. Hence why 80% of my favourites this month are skincare related or low maintenance makeup. Anyone else wearing the bare minimum makeup whilst this heatwave is still rolling through?!

Origins Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Treatment Lotion
I somehow managed to be one of the winners of the OriginsXAlex Steinherr giveaway (I never win again!) and I've been using it since the beginning of the month. I have used a couple of Origins products and I love them, considering this product features Mushroom it actually smells really refreshing and leaves my skin feeling so soft and ready for moisturiser. I also feel like my skin has been a lot calmer since I started using the treatment lotion and I've had a lot less spots.

Skinkissed Serum
I've been using this serum for the past two weeks in the morning since my favourite Clarin's serum ran out. This vitamin C serum from Skinkissed is filled with vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, collagen and rose oil. You only need a couple of drops each time you use it, so it's going to last you ages. There is a very minimal smell to it and my skin drinks this stuff in! Keep your eyes peeled for a full review of it very soon.

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist
I started using this facial mist at the end of my skincare routine during this bloody hot weather and my skin is loving me for it! This mist really helps to refresh and hydrate my skin, I've actually been leaving it in the fridge and spritzing it onto my skin throughout the day to help refresh my skin and revive me (p.s. it's also a great to wake you up if you keep it in the fridge and spritz it on if you're flagging throughout the day or can't wake up in the morning!).

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum
This new favourite is solely because of Alex Steinherr when my all-time favourite Clarin's serum ran out, I picked this one up after hearing so much about it from Alex and I'm so glad I did! I feel like this has made my skin feel much smoother, hydrated and plumper in the morning after I've used this. Also not gonna lie, I sometimes use this during the day on those days when my skin feels very dehydrated.

Garnier Micellar Water
I am a big fan of the Garnier micellar water for the first stage of cleansing my skin and have used it for what feels like a couple of years now. The latest one I picked up is the green one for sensitive, combination skin and I fricking love it! I love that this removes my toughest waterproof makeup including lip and eye makeup without irritating my sensitive eyes.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
I had been eyeing up this palette for months and finally picked up when I was given a gift card to Debenhams and I'm so glad that I finally picked it up. I mean number one, it smells like sweet peaches which is amazing on its own. The palette is also a gorgeous combination of pinky/nude colours with browns and purples.

Too Faced Peaches & Cream Setting Spray & Primer
I picked up these travel sizes when I popped by my local Too Faced counter to check out the launch of the Peaches & Cream collection. I have quite a collection of primers but I've been reaching for this one more and more over the last month, it's really helped control the oiler parts of my skin throughout the day. I always use a setting spray to help my makeup last all day and the Peaches & Cream one smells incredible and has really helped combat the oiliness I get at the end of a long day.

Hoola Bronzer
I've recently gotten into wearing bronzer regularly and it's all thanks to this Hoola bronzer, I always use to think that I was way to fair and bronzer would just look muddy on me. Thankfully Benefit has brought out their traditional Hoola in a lighter version for those that think the traditional one is too dark for them, luckily with a light hand, I can make the traditional one work for me. I might try out the lite version once these samples run out.

Giorgio Armani Neo Nude Fusion Powder
As you all know, I am a big fan of Armani beauty and I've particularly been loving the Neo Nude collection, it's all about natural, glowing skin. I've been using this powder to finish my makeup and give me a gorgeous glow as well as topping up my skin at the end of a long day to keep my skin looking brighter and more awake.

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine
A group of some of my favourite Liverpool bloggers started a local bloggers book club and this is the first book we'd started reading. I've really wanted to get back into reading, I used to be a complete bookworm and could get through a book easily within a day. I've been trying to get into the habit of reading for a little bit before bed instead of having screen time and I've already gotten through several of the chapters of the book and get excited to crack the book back open every evening.

What have you been loving this month?

Speak to you next time!
