Chaophraya's New Thai Re-Imagined Menu

I think it's now safe to say we're officially in Spring and heading towards Summer with all this gorgeous sunny weather lately! I don't know about you but I am loving that it isn't getting dark till a lot later now and I'm also loving going out for dinner and sitting out in this gorgeous weather. A couple of weeks ago I got the invite to get out in the sunshine with Sam to try out the new Thai Re-Imagined menu at Chaophraya Liverpool.

Chaophraya takes the rush out of dining to give you a completely unique dining experience. There are eight restuarants throughout the UK, each features an amazing interior of contemporary and heritage-inspired decor. They even have fish tanks throughout their restaurants! Not only is there space for afternoon tea and cocktails, you can book one of their private dining areas as well as a fabulous seating area where the table is at floor level.

I met Sam after she'd had a full day of work, we headed up to Chaophraya for some delicious food and cocktails. Walking into the restaurant, it was like walking into your own little bubble, outside the top of Liverpool ONE was heaving with people enjoying the sunshine but you wouldn't have guessed that sitting at our table, it was so calm and peaceful. Looking through the menu and trying to decide what dishes we wanted to try took the longest, there are just too many dishes on the menu we wanted to try that it was hard to narrow it down.

In the end, I decided to go for the chicken satays, Thai style grilled chicken and egg fried rice. We also decided to try out the chicken boxing and tom yum roast duck wings from the Thai Re-Imagined menu. My favourites were definitely the chicken satays, egg fried rice and the tom yum roast duck wings. The chicken satays were perfectly cooked and seasoned, they make a great starter or addition to any meal! The egg fried rice also made the perfect addition to the meal and the seasoning complemented the Thai style grilled chicken perfectly.

The new Thai Re-Imagined menu is a collection of small dishes that you can enjoy as a starter or alongside your main meal. The idea behind the collection is that they are inspired by Kim's travels around the world and are a combination of traditional Thai cuisine with some new dish concepts. The seven new dishes feature something for everyone with veggie, fish and meat options as well as the added hint of spice in a lot of the dishes. After trying the chicken boxing and tom yum roast duck wings, they were both lovely but for me the duck wings were definitely my winner!

What's your favourite Thai dish?
