Blogger Pamper Party | Renaissance Skincare & Beauty

As a nurse I spent most of my week looking after people, helping them get stronger and recover from major surgery. However, when I'm off work I very rarely look after myself as between blogging, having a somewhat of a social life and work, the little time I have left is spent catching up on my sleep. So I was really excited to get an invite to the Renaissance Skincare & Beauty blogger pamper party and to spend the evening having an incredible facial.

Renaissance Skincare & Beauty has been open in Liverpool since 1999 with two stores, one in Prescot and one in St Helens. They are even open until 9pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday making it perfect for those desperately needed after work pamper evenings. They offer everything you could possibly need to pamper yourself, from skincare treatments, nail treatments and waxing to tanning, hair removal, massages and treatments for men. Their treatments include some amazing brands including Elemis, pH Formula and Dermologica.

Of course, for the pamper evening I brought along Sam, my bestie and another person who spends all day lugging heavy boxes and dealing with a lot of pressure on her shoulders. After a little mishap of getting lost on the way and driving around the beautiful Prescot for a bit longer than planned, we finally arrived ready to have a look around and get pampered. We were welcomed in with a glass of bubbly and cupcakes which is the perfect start to a pamper evening if you ask me, we were then given time to have a look around and see everything they currently offer.

Once we'd heard all about the salon, everything they have achieved and what they offer, we got to choose whether we wanted a facial or massage. As I constantly suffer from dry, dehydrated skin all thanks to the air conditioning at work, I decided to go for Elemis facial whilst Sam went for a massage. As we are best friends, of course, we had our treatment in their joint treatment room which lead to fits of giggles and the funniest evening! I loved my Elemis facial, my skin was left feeling amazing, so soft, radiant and clear afterwards. Whilst my facial only lasted 30 minutes, I was so relaxed during the facial that I genuinely almost fell asleep!

Renaissance Skincare & Beauty is right around the corner from my work so I'm definitely going to be back there regularly, my facial was amazing and from Sam's reports her massage was equally as good. I'm heading back soon for a facial and massage and you should definitely all book in for a treatment very soon!

Have you had an Elemis facial?

Speak to you next time!

  1. The treatments sound lovely! I need to get back in the habit of booking myself in for more treatments, everything just feels so much better after a little pamper!
