Looking Stylish In Freezing Temperatures | Tobi.com

You wouldn't think leaving the house lately that we were the middle of March, in fact you wouldn't be mistaken for thinking it was the dead of Winter right now in Liverpool. Whilst I've spent a lot of time trying not to head out in this freezing weather, I headed out for one of my first proper trips out the house since being sick so it called for super warm, yet stylish clothing and Tobi had come to my rescue.

As I'm trying to incorporate more fashion into my blog, I was so happy when the lovely people at Tobi offered to send me some goodies to help get me kick started (you will be seeing more pieces from them very soon!).

During the cold weather, I live for oversized pieces and boots and today wasn't any different. I've been living for this Marlowe cardigan from Tobi as I love how oversized and snuggly it is. I decided to go for the black version (p.s. it also comes a nude which I already want) as I typically thought that black would go with everything and I thought with the darker wool I can dress it up and still stay warm. One of the winning parts of this cardigan is definitely the faux fur scarf part on the neckline, I felt so warm and cosy yesterday in 1-degree weather and I even tried it outside with just the cardigan and honestly the only cold part of me was my hands and face which is a big feat coming from someone who is always cold!

Being plus-sized I find that a lot of the fashion pieces that I love just don't work for me, unfortunately that includes patterned trousers (no matter how much I love them, my hips and bum look four times bigger when I put a pattern on them), so I tend to stick to plainer trousers and I have real love for skinny jeans. As a 25-year-old, I feel like a bit more of a proper adult as I've finally found my perfect pair of skinny jeans and it's all thanks to George, I am completely obsessed with their Wonderfit range as they fit perfectly on my waist and my hips/thighs (a big feat when you've got a smaller waist and bigger hips/thighs) and they also go back to their original shape when washed!

I picked up this bow tote bag from Oasis recently in their in-store sale and had to take it for a spin, as a blogger I am forever after the perfect bag that will hold everything I need for blogger events including my cameras, chargers and I think this might be up there as one of my favourites. And really a girl can never have too many black handbags, can she?!

What's your favourite cold weather outfit?

Speak to you next time!
