Liverpool's Dirty Little Secret

I have never been the type of girl that lives for getting all dressed up in super high heels and freezing my butt off in clubs all night, so I'm forever on the hunt for amazing and cosy places to go for cocktails with my friends in Liverpool. Cue the launch of the new cocktail lounge Dirty Little Secret!

Located at the bottom of Wood street, you could quite easily walk past it (as I almost did). Tucked away behind a tiled doorway is a winding staircase that takes you from Liverpool city centre to a cosy Moroccan retreat. Inside is decorated beautifully with a very natural theme running through the bar, stone effect walls, a wooden backed bar and trees with fairy lights wrapped around them.

There are Moroccan lanterns hanging everywhere, amber lighting and couches covered in cushions, it's the perfect hideaway to have cocktails with the girls and you will be completely spoilt for choice with cocktail menu that has a mixture of new and classic cocktails. Whilst they have got the classic cocktails that everyone loves, they have made their own fabulous creations including the Cereal Thriller which includes Nutella and is even served in a minature coco pops box! Once you've found your perfect cocktail (mine was the Eden Tonic) then it's time to find your spot to enjoy the rest of the night, there's hidden booths in the walls, massive Moroccan style couches and wine barrel tables by the DJ booth.

I ended up spending the evening with Jessi, her husband Ste (he's the walking google of all things music!) and Sam and we had such an incredible night. We spent the evening trying out some incredible cocktails, laughing and singing our hearts out in the couch booths. We all left Dirty Little Secret in such a great mood and in dire need of another cocktail night there soon!

What's your favourite cocktail?

Speak to you next time!
