Since I got into makeup and skincare in high school, Superdrug has always been my go-to place for getting anything and everything beauty and skincare related. It was a major blogger milestone for me to get an email from them inviting me to the launch of their new store in the Edge Lane retail park in Liverpool!

Every shift for the past year I've driven past the Liverpool Shopping Park when it was just a McDonalds and a bowling place. It's amazing to spend how much the shopping park has changed and developed, all the brands that have now opened stores there is incredible! The latest addition is the new Superdrug store which is HUGE.

With this new store launch comes another Makeup Revolution stand-alone counter, Liverpool is the first place in the UK to have two stand-alone Makeup Revolution counters. On the day Superdrug ran a promotion for anyone buying £15 worth of Makeup Revolution products, they got a goody bag to celebrate the new counter worth £25!! Whilst the gift section left a little to be desired, the rest of the store was incredible. It has an entire wall (the length of the store!) that is dedicated to beauty and skincare!! It also has an entire wall of healthcare as well as a threading and nail care station that you definitely need to visit!

While I was wandering around I spotted the Real Techniques Brush Crush range which I have well and truly fallen in love with. They're limited edition with pastel bristles and glitter handles, what more does a girl need for Christmas? I've also got my eye on some of the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polishes, I really want to get some to road test as they are supposed to last for 14 days of colour and shine with a super easy removal.

Was Superdrug the beginning of your beauty addiction?

Speak to you next time!

  1. Edge Lane is like a whole new world now! I remember the old Cineworld, Hollywood Bowl, B&Q and Maccies days! I remember thinking it had gone a bit posh when it got a Frankies haha! It looks phenomenal now and I can't wait to head back down and check it out!
