Heavenly Desserts

I've always had a sweet tooth since I was a little girl so getting to spend the evening testing out the menu at the new Heavenly Desserts store in Liverpool is my ideal way to spend a Wednesday evening, especially when it includes spending time with the lovely Jessi.

Last week I got the chance to go behind closed doors before the new Heavenly Desserts store opened and try out some of their incredible dishes on the menu. Before we went along to the tasting, I met up with Jessi and I picked up a couple of bits from Dior, a brand I've never tried before but I'm really excited to test out.

Heavenly desserts have been around in the UK since 2008 with stores throughout the country and thankfully the latest store has opened in Liverpool One right next to the Hilton hotel. It is in the perfect place as you are right in Liverpool One so perfect after a day of shopping, but you also have an amazing view of the docks with all their fairy lights of an evening. Their menu has so much included from delicious breakfasts to the perfect after dinner treats with a side of coffee.

There really is nothing better than being welcomed to an event with coffee and waffles! After we'd had a coffee and time to peruse through the menu which is filled with drool-worthy pictures, Nicola and Mark talked us through some of their favourite artisan dishes from Heavenly Desserts. There was everything from waffles to crepes to baked cookie dough! My favourites have got to be the 'I'll have what she's having' waffles and the white chocolate baked cookie dough. I loved that all hot desserts are made fresh to order, you can really tell the difference in the quality of the desserts. I normally find that whenever I have waffles, I get about half-way through and they just sit like a brick in my stomach. These were super light waffles like I ate half of them and could easily have eaten the full waffle and more!

If you fancy going for some desserts, you will be glad to know that they are open from 8am-12am Sunday to Thursday and 10am-1.30am Friday and Saturday. Making it the perfect brunch spot, mid-afternoon treat or a late night sweet treat. They're even answering our dreams by offering their sweet treats as take-out and on deliveroo, meaning you can get a delicious sweet treat to accompany the Netflix binge-watching that we all do on the weekend!

What sweet treat have you got your eye on?

Speak to you next time!
