New Menu At The Baltic Social

baltic social wall of fairy lights

A couple of weeks back, I got an exciting email inviting me to the launch of the new menu at The Baltic Social. Liverpool is quickly evolving, there are constantly areas of the city centre that are developing and changing for the better! The Baltic Triangle is the latest area in the city centre that is being developed, with the Baltic Market being among the latest launchs.

Now I have the palate of a small child so whenever I'm invited anywhere I always have to check that there will actually be something on the menu that I will eat and whilst the new menu isn't available yet for you online to get those taste buds watering, the slightly older menu is still available to view. Right opposite Ghetto Golf, it is in the perfect position for you to have some afternoon tea with the girls or a yummy dinner before an evening of amazing cocktails and ghetto golf.

For someone so fussy, I actually looked at the menu and couldn't decide what I wanted in a good way. Unfortunately, the week before I was struck down with some sort of mutant cold which left me in dire need of comfort food so I ended up going for the mac and cheese with a side of halloumi fries and chips because let's face it mac and cheese is one of THE best dishes on any menu and perfect if you feel anything less than perfect! My mum and Sam both went more adventurous going for the chicken fillet burgers and fries.

Overall I think the restuarant was really good, the night we went was super busy. As well as having the restuarant open with 50% off the new menu, they actually had a painting class on the night as well! I cannot wait to go back and get some of that mac and cheese!

Where's your favourite place to eat in Liverpool?

Speak to you next time!
