Giorgio Armani Prima & Prive Launches

Giorgio Armani Prima Skincare

Way back in March I was introduced to Giorgio Armani skin care, beauty and fragrances by the lovely Kate from the Chester counter and she had me completely addicted from the get go! I was super excited when she emailed me inviting me down as they were launching two new skin care items as well as a new perfume that I just had to check out!

Whilst I have built up my collection of Armani makeup, I'm yet to get into the skincare products (mainly because I have about a million and one skin care products to get through!). However, I think that might change with the launch of some of their new skin care products as one of them, in particular, is right up my street and exactly what my skin needs! The new launches to the Prima range are the Soft Peeling Lotion and Instant Off. The soft peeling lotion (the one I really want) helps to nourish, soften and rehydrate your skin with hyaluronic acid which gently exfoliates the skin to reduce pores and restores your skin. The longer you use it, the more radiant your skin looks and fine lines become reduced. On the evening Kate told us that you can actually either wipe it over your skin on a cotton pad or pat it straight into your skin for an extra boost of hydration.

On the evening, Kate and Robyn also talked us through all the different Prive perfumes to celebrate the launch of the Eau de Jade perfume. Eau de Jade is a light, refreshing perfume with hints of bergamot, neroli, vetlver and pepper. I found it so subtle and refreshing, for me it's the perfect perfume for every day. While they were talking us through the different Prive fragrances which there are actually three different ranges of perfume within Prive, they are actually designed to be worn in different ways. The Eau de Jade perfume is designed to be sprayed in a V-shaped beginning at one shoulder going down to below your bust then coming up to the other shoulder with the idea that with your body heat, the fragrance rises meaning you are able to smell it throughout the day and you don't get that feeling where you spray perfume and then feel like it's disappeared within an hour of putting it on! I seriously need to use up some of my perfumes so I can get the Pivoine Suzhou which is all about peonies with hints of rose, wood and musk.

As I was leaving, Kate kindly gave me a little goody bag that she had filled with some samples of the new Prima skincare launches, samples of some of Kiehl's staple products and she also kindly gave me one of the Lip Maestro's which I'm actually obsessed with in a deep blue-toned red which I can't wait to try out! I had such a fun time at the event and I will be going back very soon for a facial and makeover (and to possibly get some of the Prima range).

Have you tried Armani beauty?

Speak to you next time!
*I was invited to the Armani counter to see the new launches. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
