It's Time For Another Body Shop Blogger Event

This year is going incredibly fast, I mean it's nearly Mother's Day! So it's time to start looking at gifts for all the incredible mothers out there. Thankfully Sarah from The Body Shop on Bold Street came to the rescue and invited me to their latest blogger event to check out their Mother's Day gifts and a couple of their latest launches.

This year all of the Mother's Day gifts centre around pampering the amazing women in your life that deserve to be celebrated. A lot of them include the British Rose scent which launched last year, it smells gorgeous and is the perfect scent as a gift for Mother's Day and all the sets are such great value for money! But if your mother isn't a fan of florals like my mum, The Body Shop have launched their new fragrance White Musk L'eau.

White Musk L'eau is their newest fragrance launch which is their iconic White Musk fragrance with jasmine and rose with notes of pear. I think this is a perfect, fresh scent and is ideal for spring. The new launch reminds me so much of a high street dupe for Marc Jacobs Daisy. I may have picked one up at the event as I think it might be the perfect scent for me to wear at work as it's fresh but not heavily perfumed.

I may have also been heavily swayed into picking up one of their new contour palettes, they've recently released contour and lip palettes that you can then pop into the large 8 space palette (they may also be releasing single eyeshadow pans very soon, so you can mix and match your own palette). I have been dying to get into contour, but have always been so put off because of how pale I am. I find most contour shades look muddy no matter how I put them on. However The Body Shop have come to the rescue with a grey toned shade in the palette for paler skin (they've also released a darker palette that caters for those who aren't as pale as me!). Each palette comes with a contour, bronzer, highlight and blush, so I can see it quickly becoming my go-to cheek palette.

I had such an amazing time at the Bold Street blogger event, thank you so much to Sarah for inviting me! I'd really recommend taking a trip down to Bold Street, it's nicely nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping in Liverpool meaning it doesn't feel rushed or hectic when you take a trip in to treat yourself or someone you love.

What are you treating your mum to this Mother's Day?

Speak to you next time!
*I was invited to The Body Shop to check out their new releases. All thoughts and opinions are 100% honest and own.

  1. I love how The Body Shop love bloggers! Gutted I couldn't make the last event! I'm loving all their Mothers Day gift sets right now, it's just a shame my mum is more likely to pass them back to me to use than use herself!
